We are so glad we were able to have Starkeys cater our event! We had a great experience from start to finish. They were easy to contact and it was a breeze choosing our menu and such. The food was off the charts and so fresh. The full line up was a huge hit!! Highly recommend the Great White pizza, Salmon roll, rice balls and poke! They even had gluten free pizza dough for our gluten free guests. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Rachel and Dave were so wonderful to work with. The food was fantastic and filled us all up with delight. Our wedding had to change venues and Dave made it work seamlessly. Our family couldn't have asked for a more perfect food selection. We had guests from Brazil and they adored the food even in the midst of a hail storm in June! We are so very grateful for Rachel's and Daves support in our planning and the day of. Anyone would find their food and service wonderful and so very delicious. Until we meet again!!!​​

Dave & Rachel were so incredibly easy to work with on planning our event.  They made an amazing impression with our clients at 2 separate locations.  Dave is an amazing chef and his passion for food is on total display with a personality to match.  Don't over think the pizza and sushi, it is an awesome experience.  They took the time to accommodate the dietary needs of all of our clients (35 people). This was such an awesome and unique culinary experience and we would give it 10 stars if we could.  Love you guys!​​

Starkeys catered my 85 person wedding on Friday and it was a hit! Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, and my guests seemed to agree - I got so many compliments on the food throughout the night! They made the planning process so easy, were very communicative, and showed up the day-of with the biggest smiles! All my guests were served in crazy fast fashion as well! Definitely recommend them for your next event!

We're so lucky Starkeys had a cancellation and was able to serve our soft opening event with some absolutely delicious pizza. Dave and Rachel were awesome to work with from start to finish and you could tell they were loved in the community by the amount of attendees that knew them and their pizza! As a host to about 80-100 guests, the most compliments I received was about the food!  Dave Starkey provided Pizza, Sushi and Caesar salad - sounds like a crazy combo, but it totally worked and everybody from 3 to 83 were so happy and satisfied!  The food truck was awesome and my kitchen stayed clean - that's saying a lot for a big party!  Thanks Dave and Rachel, you ROCK!!

"Starkeys Food Truck rocks!  We hired them for a small, outdoor event.  They were incredibly easy to work with and gave great advice on creating a menu.  They arrived on time, ready to get to work serving amazing food to our guests. They were also very covid-compliant.  I'm not gonna lie, we are pizza and sushi snobs - although we don't usually have it together. But hey, it's 2020 -anything goes, right?  Both the pizza and sushi were fresh, flavorful and our friends are still raving about it.  Thanks Starkeys for a great experience!  We're already looking for another reason to bring you back in 2021."

"I was named Best Man for friends wedding. So when he asked me to organize his Bachelor Party in Truckee, I knew I had to come through with the goods on many fronts. Getting quality food for a group of mid to late 40 year olds isn't easy. But luckily I found Starkeys and I can honestly say everyone loved it. They combine pizza and sushi and it couldn't have been more tastier. Dave and his wife Rachel run a very organized operation. They were very up front with me on how everything works. Besides being good business people, they are quality family people also. I appreciate their work ethic and quality of service. "We hired Starkeys to do our late night food for our wedding at West Shore Cafe in Tahoe and they did such an amazing job! They were so responsive throughout the planning process and were so flexible and accommodating to everything we wanted. Because we had such a large dinner and a lot of snacks throughout the night, we opted for just pizza and it was so delicious!!! “We hired Starkeys for my husbands 50th Birthday gathering, a group of 8 adults and 4 children.  The chef, Dave was a pleasure to have join us in this intimate setting - friendly, accommodating and personable.  And, wow, the sushi was out of this world.  We're sushi snobs and this sushi exceeded our expectations.  There was a wide variety of very fresh fish and creative presentations.  We could order what we liked or enjoy Dave's creations.  Even several of my guests who don't eat sushi could not stop raving. Dave provides back up pizza for those who don't eat sushi.  They were quite tasty.  The kids were eager to try it ALL as well.  Our guests have been inquiring about Starkeys, as they want to use them for their events.  I highly recommend Dave Starkey.  Top Notch!!”
